Gmail Redesigned to compose and reply to email
The popular Google Mail service, Gmail, implemented changes in its design that aim to simplify the writing and reading emails.
Now, when you click “Compose”, the email to write is not on the screen but in a box in the lower left, a window similar to Google Talk. That way, the user can continue browsing your Gmail while writing an email. You can add CC and BCC, change the sending account, preview the attached documents, and format the text.
Another novelty is that when you right click on a mail in the inbox, the user can view the content without going to read it.
The new design is now available for some Gmail accounts. If your account is not available, you must click on “Try out the new compose experience“.
If you change your mind or if you need to use a feature that isn’t available yet, you can switch back to the old experience at any time. Here’s how:
- Click Compose
- At the bottom corner of the message pane, click the More menu on the arrow next to the Discard button.
- Select “Switch back to old compose.”
